Meghan McKnight

McKnight's highly tactile paintings are built with layer of acrylic using palette knives and piping bags.  Her abstractions suggest natural forms and processes, they are open to the free association of the viewer.  The settings are ambiguous in scale: cosmic, topographical or microscopic.

Meghan McKnight is a recent graduate of the University of Toronto, with a BFA in visual arts and a BA in English.  She has exhibited her work in solo and group shows in Toronto, Brooklyn and Mexico City.
